This is the home of “Anderson on Civil E-Filing,” the FREE, unofficial Civil E-Filing Manual for the United States District Court, Central District of California.

Effective January 1, 2008, the USDC has adopted mandatory E-Filing for all civil cases.  Unfortunately, the Court has not yet provided a user manual explaining how to use the system.  We’ve written a manual that explains how to convert documents to PDF and file them.  This manual was not written by and has not been approved by the Court.

    Thanks for making this available.

As you consider updates, you might consider adding information about how to file a pro hac vice application if the applicant isn’t already a registered ECF user.
